National Night Out -Tues August 3rd 7-9pm
Posted on Jul 14th, 2010
Bonded neighborhoods deter crime by sending the message that
you are close to your neighbors and everyone is aware of what is happening in your neighborhood, and is watching out for each other.
In observance of National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, the Concord Police Department asks that at minimum you leave your porch light on from 7:00 p.m – 10:00 p.m. The porch light is a symbol of alertness and awareness; it also makes your neighbors and friends feel welcome. Participation is not limited to leaving your porch light on August 3. We would like you to get to know your neighbors better. You can do this by going door to door and introducing yourself if you have not done so in the past.
Our Community is planning a street party at the Clubhouse parking lot Tuesday August 3rd from 7-9pm. The Fire Dept will bring a fire truck and Ruckus House will bring their race car and driver. Other activities are being planned. Neighborhood Watch information will be highlighted. More information will be posted soon. We hope to see everyone there!!!
